Coastal/Caribbean (Cartagena, Santa Marta, Tayrona):
The best time to visit the Caribbean coast is during its driest and most pleasant season, which runs from December through April. This period is ideal for a honeymoon in Cartagena or general coastal travel.

Andean/Altitude (Coffee Region, Bogotá):
Sitting at higher altitudes, the Coffee Region and Bogotá maintain a temperate climate throughout the year. They experience two main dry seasons: December through February and June through August. These drier windows are perfectly aligned with the harvest season in the Eje Cafetero.
