Ten days. Three regions. Mountain landscapes, tropical rainforest, and Colombia’s Caribbean coast connected through a privately guided journey designed around nature, soft adventure, and regional culture. From Medellín’s urban transformation and the lakes of Guatapé to the protected ecosystems of Tayrona and the colonial streets of Cartagena, each destination reveals a distinct side of Colombia’s geography and identity.

Medellín
Welcome to Medellín, Colombia’s second-largest city, set within a valley surrounded by the Andean mountains.
Known for its mild climate and evolving cultural identity, Medellín combines contemporary architecture, green public spaces, and a strong local character.
Upon arrival at José María Córdova International Airport, you will be met by your local representative and privately transferred to your hotel in El Poblado.
The remainder of the day is reserved to relax and settle in after your international flight.
Medellín
Today, discover Medellín through a guided bicycle experience designed to provide a more local perspective of the city.
Accompanied by your guide, explore residential neighbourhoods, parks, local cafés, and urban spaces reflecting Medellín’s transformation.
Along the route, stop to sample seasonal fruits, Colombian coffee, and regional snacks.
The experience continues with a visit to Medellín Botanical Garden and a relaxed picnic-style lunch surrounded by tropical vegetation.
Antioquia Highlands
Leave the city behind and travel into the Andean hills surrounding Medellín, where nature and rural traditions remain closely connected to everyday life.
Today’s experience begins with a guided hike through the ecological reserve of La Miel.
Follow mountain trails, rivers, and forested landscapes while learning about the native flora and ecosystems of Antioquia.
The hike concludes at La Miel waterfall followed by a locally sourced lunch at a nearby agroecological farm.
Guatapé
Today, journey east of Medellín toward Guatapé, a region known for its lakes, rolling green hills, and rural landscapes.
This part of Antioquia offers a slower pace and a different perspective of Colombia’s countryside.
Accompanied by your guide, enjoy a cycling route around the base of El Peñol, the region’s iconic granite monolith.
The experience combines outdoor activity with panoramic views and a traditional Colombian lunch overlooking the lakes.
Tayrona Region
After breakfast, private transfer to the airport for your flight to Santa Marta, gateway to Colombia’s Caribbean coast and the Sierra Nevada mountains.
Upon arrival, continue toward the Tayrona region, known for its biodiversity, indigenous heritage, and protected coastal ecosystems.
Later in the day, enjoy a tubing experience along the Don Diego River surrounded by dense rainforest vegetation and native wildlife.
The river journey gradually opens toward the Caribbean coast, where time is reserved to relax by the beach.
Tayrona National Park
Today is dedicated to exploring Tayrona National Natural Park, one of Colombia’s most important protected natural areas.
Located between the Sierra Nevada mountains and the Caribbean coast, the park combines tropical forest, archaeological remains, and remote beaches.
Accompanied by your guide, hike through jungle landscapes toward Cabo San Juan.
Time is reserved to rest by the beach, swim, and enjoy lunch before returning through the park.
Bunkuany
This morning, explore Bunkuany, an archaeological and ecological site located within the foothills of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.
Surrounded by cloud forest and connected by restored stone pathways, the site offers insight into indigenous history associated with Colombia’s Caribbean region.
Guided by local experts, discover ancient terraces, ceremonial spaces, and forest trails.
The experience combines cultural interpretation with nature exploration and ancestral knowledge.
Cartagena
Today, continue by private vehicle along the Caribbean coastline toward Cartagena, Colombia’s most historically preserved colonial city.
The overland journey offers changing coastal scenery and insight into everyday life along northern Colombia’s Caribbean corridor.
Upon arrival, begin a guided exploration of Cartagena’s historic center and the district of Getsemaní.
Walk through colonial plazas, churches, and narrow streets shaped by Spanish and Caribbean influences.
Tierra Bomba Island
Cross Cartagena Bay toward Tierra Bomba Island, located just offshore from the city.
The island combines fishing communities, tropical landscapes, and historic military fortifications linked to Cartagena’s colonial past.
Accompanied by your guide, explore the island by bicycle through coastal trails and local pathways.
Following the ride, relax by the Caribbean coast and enjoy a locally prepared lunch before returning to Cartagena.
Cartagena
This morning is reserved at leisure to enjoy Cartagena at a slower pace before your departure.
Depending on your flight schedule, additional time may be available to relax at your hotel or take a final walk through the historic center.
At the appropriate time, private transfer to Rafael Núñez International Airport for your onward flight and international departure.
Depart Colombia with a broader understanding of the country’s diverse landscapes, regional cultures, and natural environments.
