We were absolutely thrilled with every aspect of our trip organized through View Peru! We used them both for a 5-day Salkantay trek to Machu Picchu and for driver service in the Sacred Valley.

Our Salkantay trek was absolutely perfect! We were so glad we booked through View Peru as all the other groups followed a slightly different itinerary that had them camping closer to the start of the trail in a much more crowded area, whereas as our camp site was 200 (vertical) meters from the Salkantay pass summit (which allowed us to be the first to the top the next day!) at a completely secluded spot where we could see the Salkantay glacier as well as thousands of stars … this alone should be reason to book with View Peru. Everything else about the trek was also exceptional – from the super luxurious glamping set up, to the seamless logistics!

My husband and I had a flawless 5 day Salkantay trekking tour with the incredible team at View Peru. From start to finish we were taken such great care of and every small detail was perfectly executed. Our trip leader, Sebastian, was a wealth of knowledge and we grew to become great friends by the end of the trip. All the others that helped support our trekking and glamping tour along the way were top tier people and we hold a warm place in our hearts for all they did to make sure our time in the incredible Peruvian mountains was memorable. The chef, Celio, worked wonders by delivering us top quality traditional Peruvian meals. Adolfo was always there to make sure our food service was buttoned up and that all meals went smoothly.

We chose ViewPeru to look after us on the Salkantay Trek and then on a six day tour from Cusco via Puno to La Paz, with a day tour to Palcoyo before the trek. ViewPeru were excellent.

Doris was the contact person in the office. She was tireless, very helpful and friendly and prompt in dealings with questions and queries. Doris is fantastic.

Transport throughout was in very comfortable minibuses. The trip to Palcoyo with Deyvis and Ronald was fascinating. Ronald is an excellent driver and inspires confidence. We drove to a stop that is about 45 minutes of fairly easy slow walk to the view point at 4,880m. We took in the amazing scenery, and took photos to capture the moment and came back. The period at high altitude was less than three hours overall and had no impact on us after three days in Cusco.

**Elvis made it on the Salkantay Trek**
Last week we had a terrific trek. Our destination was the Salkantay mountain. We were very happy with Elvis, our tour guide. He could not be more friendly, well-informed and ready to fulfill any of our requests. Perfect service! The porters and cooks did an outstanding job too and made sure we were always comfortable. Listening to Elvis’s story about how he is connected to the Incan culture and history in an open way was so special. Besides, we had a great time on the hike with spectacular views. We loved this experience from the beginning to the end.

    **Luxury for mom and daughter**
We decided to celebrate my birthday with my daughter in a luxurious way with View Peru. A 5-day and 4-night adventure was about to start. I felt very comfortable booking with View Peru as it was very simple and we got all the information we needed about the trek beforehand. This was my first time trekking or even camping, but every stage of the trip was planned carefully meeting every of our needs, with luxury in every second of the trip. Our private trek was just for the two of us with a 9-people team supporting our adventure. The tent was completely equipped and the camp bed allowed us a deep and restful sleep. I have no more than compliments for the food. Huge variety of flavors and enough to fill your body and soul. We could not ask for a better service as we had a helpful and high-toned person in every step of the trip. Our guide, Elvis, deserves the best compliments for his knowledge in history and his expertise to overcome bad moments and altitude sickness. If you are looking for an outstanding experience in trekking, you found it. The best sights made by man, luxury at its best, a five-star service. That is View Peru.
