Detailed Itinerary
1DAY 1: ARRIVAL CUSCO – SACRED VALLEY
At your arrival a View Peru representative will be waiting to welcome you warmly at the airport, ready to answer all the questions you may have. Then, you will be transferred in a handicapped accessible vehicle to drive you to your hotel at the beautiful Sacred Valley. On the way we will make a short stop at Awanacancha where you will be amazed to see Llamas, Vicuñas and Alpacas, and you will be able to feed them if you wish.
As we arrive to your hotel, please know that we have taken care of all your special requests and so the hotel. So you can rest peacefully and get use to the high altitude of the Sacred Valley for the rest of the day.

2DAY 2: SACRED VALLEY – MACHUPICCHU – CUSCO (B, L)
After you have enjoyed a nourishing breakfast you will be taken by a suitable vehicle to Ollantaytambo train station in order to catch the train towards Aguas Calientes. When you arrive you will be greeted by a View Peru representative and then taken to the entrance of the marvelous Sanctuary of Machu Picchu.
For the day we have prepared an amazing tour of the citadel where you will be accompanied by your expert and knowledgeable guide and an assistant to help you with anything that you may need. You will be taught about the history of the ancient Incas from its origin to end as well as the many theories that surrounding Machu Picchu’s construction.
Take pleasure of visiting Machu Picchu and be amazed by how impressive is the citadel, we all have seen many pictures of it, but it doesn’t give justice of how magnificent truly is and how lucky we are, as it was the only site that was not found by the Spanish conquerors.
Appreciate the lush cloud forest, as you regress in time while seeing how perfectionist the Incas were and how hard they work to pull together the cobblestone streets, temples and perfect design of the whole citadel, all surrounded by green mountains and a precious landscape.
Afterwards you will be brought to Aguas Calientes on time to board your train, since is time to go back to Cusco. We will finally pick you up from the station and take you to your comfortable hotel in town for you to rest and recover for your next day activity.

3DAY 3: CUSCO CITY TOUR (B, L)
After breakfast, you will have the morning to relax. By the early afternoon we will pick you up to start our tour through the highlights of the city and the nearby ruins located in the outskirts.
Our first stop will be Sacsayhuaman an archaeological site made of impressive rocks that weight up to 180 tons, it is the perfect example of the Inca architecture. Later on we will move towards Qenqo which in English means zigzag, a mysterious temple that has a monolithic alter representing a Puma.
Continuing with our tour, we will take you through the city of Cusco to appreciate the visible reminders of the ancient Inca capital that includes ruins and various Inca walls that have served as foundations for new buildings. We will approach the Main Square of the city for your guide to explain more in detail about the Cathedral and its construction and so the Qoricancha which was the Temple of the Sun in the Incas time built in the apogee of the empire. Please be aware, that we have taken care of everything and consider your special requirement and needs throughout the course of the day, please know that you will have full assistance for you to enjoy fully this excursion.
After we have finish the tour, you will have the day at leisure to explore the beautiful city of Cusco.

5DAY 4: TRANSFER OUT (B)
On your final day, enjoy of a delicious breakfast at your hotel. At the most appropriate time, a View Peru representative will be waiting with the most suitable vehicle for you to be transported to the airport according to your flight schedule and will also assist you with any procedures at the airport.
