Start your journey in Lima, the capital of Peru, tasting Peruvian Cuisine and touring the coastal city with its modern and historical sites. Lose yourself in the beauty and culture of the Incas wandering about in the Sacred Valley touring the Pisac and Ollantaytambo ruins. Horseback riding to Maras and Moray on the Peruvian Paso Horse with a soft gait enjoying spectacular landscapes. Uncover the secrets of the marvel of Machu Picchu and stroll on the cobblestone streets of Cusco, the ancient capital of the Inca Empire. Take a boat ride on the still waters of Lake Titicaca and immerse yourself in ancient lifestyles.
Arrive in Lima, where our View Peru representative will be waiting to welcome you and escort you to the hotel of your choice. On the way, you will receive a briefing of your itinerary. Once you are settled in at your hotel enjoy your first day in Peru at leisure and have a delicious dinner in one of Lima`s finest restaurants.
After a delicious breakfast, our guide will meet you at your hotel to start your half-day tour through the capital of Lima that lies on the shores of the Pacific Ocean, to appreciate the beautiful contrast between the modern and historic sides of the city.
Our tour starts with a visit to the Huaca Pucclana pyramid, a pre-Incan site that was built around 500 A.D., by the Lima Culture.
We will explore colonial Lima, the historic center, which was declared a UNESCO world heritage. Pass through San Martin Square, Plaza de Armas, Government Palace, the Cathedral, Archbishops Palace, and the Mayor`s Palace. Next, we will visit the San Francisco Catacombs.
Then we will travel through the upper-class neighborhoods of San Isidro Olivar, Miraflores, and Larco Mar where you can have a delicious ceviche while taking in stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. We will take you to your hotel and the rest of the day at your leisure.

Today, our representative will meet you at your hotel in Lima at the scheduled time and take you to the airport for your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival in Cusco, you will be warmly welcomed by our View Peru Representative, who will introduce you to our professional guide. We will proceed to the Sacred Valley, which is lower in altitude than Cusco, enjoying the scenery of the lush valley with the surrounding Andes Mountains. Our first stop will be at the Pisac ruins to admire the Incan site that is surrounded by terraces and stunning views that make for the perfect picture. Afterward, we will visit the Pisac colorful handicraft market where you can pick up, woven fabrics, alpaca wool, jewelry, and other items. Then we will take a drive along the Vilcanota River towards Urubamba to have a splendid lunch made from fresh ingredients grown in the Sacred Valley. We will travel to the town of Ollantaytambo, where the impressive Inca fortress stands out because of its beautiful terraces that face town. Immerse yourself in the history regarding this magnificent place strolling through town admiring its Inca design that is still present today. We will leave you at your comfortable hotel to relax and have a divine dinner.
The day starts with a delicious breakfast at your hotel. Take a scenic drive with your guide to the lovely town of Chinchero which is higher in altitude than Cusco, surrounded by surreal landscapes. Enjoy touring the ruins and its adorable chapel. Then admire a colorful traditional weaving demonstration given by the women of the local communities in their radiant costumes. They use natural dyes made of minerals, flowers, plants, and insects. We will have a delectable lunch in a very nice restaurant enjoying fresh ingredients from the Sacred Valley. Our next visit takes us to the Maras Salt Flats where you will see the salt gathered by hand without using machinery. Catch stunning views of the many salt pans spread out in front of your eyes in the center of the mountains. We move forward to the spectacular vision of the Moray circular terraces that resemble an amphitheater. It is believed that Moray was used as an agricultural laboratory but the true purpose is not fully known yet. After a glorious day, return to your hotel to get well-rested.
After an early breakfast, our guide will take you to the train station for a spectacular ride onboard the Vistadome train to Aguas Calientes.
Ultimately, the day you`ve dreamed about is here! Meet face to face with the astounding Machu Picchu, Tour the wonderous Citadel with your guide who will provide all the theories surrounding this marvel of the world. Fix your eyes on the stunning structures built by the Incas and the striking surroundings. After a fantastic time, you can do the optional hike of Huayna Picchu or exit the park with your guide to enjoy a delectable lunch at a fine restaurant at Machu Picchu. Return to town and gather your belongings and take the train to Cusco. Upon your arrival at the station, our View Peru Representative will be waiting to take you to your hotel in Cusco.

Today after a delicious breakfast, our guide will greet you at your hotel to start a wonderful tour of the city of Cusco, Sacsayhuaman + Qenqo.
The first stop will be at the Qoricancha Sun Temple, a marvelous shrine that was built with religious prophecies during the Inca apogee. Following the tour, we will visit the Plaza de Armas of Cusco (the main square), where our guide will be intensifying the information about the construction and history behind the Cathedral and its beautiful architecture. Then we can visit the well-known San Pedro Market to get a taste of culture and maybe try an enticing fruit juice or eat an exotic fruit. We continue with a short drive up above Cusco taking in the lovely scenery. Visit the impressive Inca complex of Sacsayhuaman with its huge boulders and magnificent presence. As you cross its massive opening it will leave you in awe, your guide will explain that this site was built for the Incas using rocks weighing up to 180 tons which they managed to fit perfectly. The next stop is another mysterious site named Qenqo which means labyrinth. This site is very interesting as it is a rocky construction that hides subterranean passages in its interior. It is also believed this was a ceremonial place where the Incas used to possibly embalm their dead and make sacrifices. After a glorious time, we return to Cusco and have a divine lunch in a fine restaurant. The rest of the day is at your leisure.
A delicious breakfast, and at the scheduled time, our View Peru Representative will take you to the Wanchaq Train Station in Cusco. Board the Luxury Andean Belmond Train to Puno in comfort and style being pampered all the way. Take in breathtaking views as you cross the Altiplano, observing the lovely llamas and alpacas grazing in their natural habitat. Stop at La Raya, the highest point between Cusco and Puno, and take photos of the beautiful scenery laid out in front of you. Enjoy exquisite meals; lunch, tea time, dinner, cocktails, and canapes at the piano bar. The Andean Explorer train arrives at the Titicaca Lake Station at 22:00. Sleep comfortably on board in your luxury suite.

This morning, our professional guide will meet us at the train station and take us to the port to board the speedboat. Our adventure begins with a smooth ride on the still waters of Lake Titicaca admiring the beautiful lake and its surroundings en route to the island of Taquile. We will explore the less-touristy side, walking on the pristine sandy beach, visiting families of weavers who will explain their textile art and symbolism that was declared by UNESCO, a world heritage. After, the cultural experience we head to Santa Maria – Llachon located on the tip of the Capachica Peninsula, off the beaten path. The inhabitants will give us a warm welcome, and share their lifestyle, and traditions with us. We will get a glimpse into their magical world. Now it is time to observe the preparation of the Pachamanca, traditional cooking of meats, fish, potatoes, etc. using underground ovens. Enjoy a delicious lunch with a great view of the amazing landscapes. Thereafter, we proceed to our final visit to UROS Ccapi, a less commercialized and touristy island. The Uros people are one of the oldest in South America. Delve into their way of life. Return to Puno and transfer to your hotel.

This morning after a delicious breakfast it will be time to say farewell to Peru, with a transfer to the Juliaca airport with our guide. En route to the airport, we will stop at the Silustani pre-Incan Cemetery, located at the shores of Umayo. Be amazed by the tombs that were built as towers called chullpas, which were constructed by the Qulla people who are Aymara and were conquered by the Incas in the 15th century. Arrive at the airport and connect to your flight to Lima.
