Arrive in Lima, where our View Peru representative will be waiting to welcome you and escort you to the hotel of your choice. On the way, you will receive a briefing of your itinerary. Once you are settled in at your hotel enjoy your first day in Peru at leisure. In the evening, you will be taken to enjoy a fantastic dining experience at one of the best restaurants in Lima. After dinner, we will take you to your hotel for a most comfortable sleep.

Visit Barranco the bohemian art district, sip some aromatic organic Peruvian coffee in a lovely cafe. Then visit the local market where you will see the vendors and locals engage in everyday life and taste some exotic fruits. Admire amazing views of Miraflores facing the Pacific Ocean, taste exclusive selections of Peru’s cuisine and toast the famous Pisco Sour, and visit multiple neighborhoods. Finally, savor an exquisite lunch at the Huaca Pucllana Restaurant amidst the pre-Incan ruins. After an incredible time exploring the gastronomic scene in Lima, return to your hotel. The rest of the day at leisure to wander around the cosmopolitan city.
Welcome to the Ancient City of the Incas, Cusco!
After a delicious breakfast, our staff will pick you up at a convenient time according to your flight schedule to Cusco. At the Cusco airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our friendly View Peru Representative, that will escort you in private transportation to your hotel in Cusco. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax and stroll around the charming city of Cusco and get acclimatized to the high altitude (3350 m; 10,999. ft.).
Immerse yourself in the ambiance of Cusco, its history and culture, Inca ruins, and the lovely vision of the Sacred Valley.
Today after a delicious breakfast, our guide will greet you at your hotel to start a wonderful tour of the city of Cusco, Sacsayhuaman + Qenqo, and the Pisac ruins. Optional Pisac handicraft market.
The first stop will be at the Qoricancha Sun Temple, a marvelous shrine that was built with religious prophecies during the Inca apogee. Following the tour, we will visit the Plaza de Armas of Cusco (the main square), where our guide will be intensifying the information about the construction and history behind the Cathedral and its beautiful architecture. Then we can visit the well-known San Pedro Market to get a taste of culture and maybe try an enticing fruit juice or eat an exotic fruit. We will stroll back to the Plaza de Armas and have a delicious lunch in a fine restaurant. After lunch, we will take a short drive up above Cusco taking in the lovely scenery. Visit the impressive Inca complex of Sacsayhuaman with its huge boulders and magnificent presence. As you cross its massive opening it will leave you in awe, your guide will explain that this site was built for the Incas using rocks weighing up to 180 tons which they managed to fit perfectly. The next stop is another mysterious site named Qenqo which means labyrinth. This site is very interesting as it is a rocky construction that hides subterranean passages in its interior. It is also believed this was a ceremonial place where the Incas used to possibly embalm their dead and make sacrifices. Thereafter, we will be visiting the Tambomachay Inca baths and the Puka Pukara lookout point. Finalizing our tour, we continue to the Sacred Valley, beloved by the Incas due to its warm temperatures and beauty, and its lower in altitude than Cusco. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the lush valley surrounded by the Andes mountains. Drive past the town of Pisac up the hill to its archeological site with the same name looming above the town surrounded by many terraces and stunning landscapes. Optional visit of the Pisac handicraft market or Awanacancha llama farm on our way back to Cusco. We will leave you at your hotel to enjoy its amenities or wander about the city at leisure.
A fabulous time awaits, horseback riding on the Peruvian Paso Horse with a soft gait, trot to the Maras Salt flats and Moray circular terraces, then a traditional weaving demonstration at Chinchero.
After breakfast, we will make our way to the horse ranch in the Sacred Valley. After your important briefing on safety and basic horseback riding instructions mount the Peruvian Paso horse, trot to the Maras Salt flats and observe how the salt is collected by hand. Later, we must keep riding up until we reach the village of Maras to see the San Francisco de Asis Church. We will stop at a perfect spot to enjoy our picnic lunch with views of the snow-capped mountain facing us. Then ride through Maras and head toward our next stop, Moray, an incredible place that is believed to have been an agricultural laboratory used by the Incas. After our last visit, it`s time to return to the ranch where our private transport will be waiting. Our last visit will be to the quaint town of Chinchero which sits at a higher elevation than Cusco. Admire a traditional colorful weaving demonstration using natural dyes made of flowers, insects, amongst others. After a phenomenal time, return to your hotel to enjoy its amenities.
A special adventure awaits you; discovering, impressive places, delving into culture and history
Today is the start of a luxurious adventure! After breakfast, (or box breakfast from your
hotel), our professional local guide will greet you, and escort you in our comfortable private transportation. We will drive for 3.5 hours until we reach the town of Soraypampa (3920 m. / 12860.9 ft.). If you are interested in visiting Humantay Lake, it is possible to accomplish this hike in 3 hours roundtrip, with a prior announcement to your guide. The trek begins winding through an amazing valley and overwhelming panoramic views of the snow-capped peaks and surroundings for more than 200 minutes. We will appreciate the spectacular sites of Salkantay (6271 m. / 20574.2 ft.), and Humantay (5862 m. / 19232.3 ft.). We finally reach Salkantaypampa (4154 m. / 13628.6 ft), where we can unwind and enjoy our exquisite lunch, which will be waiting for us. After lunch, we will continue hiking for another 2.5 hours towards our luxury campsite, Soyrococha (4480 m. /14698.2 ft.). Before dinner, indulge in a hot shower, and afterward, soothe your body with a professional massage in nature. It is time for a fantastic gourmet dinner using organic ingredients prepared by our specialized chef. Finally, get tucked in your heated tent, and lay in comfort, for a well-rested needed sleep under the twinkling stars.
An early sunrise to continue our walk, discovering, and toasting our achievements to finally have a well-deserved rest.
With an energizing breakfast, we will continue our escapades of a challenging day. Hike for 1.5 hours towards the Salkantay Pass (4638 m. / 15216.5 ft.), and be welcomed by the Salkantay Mountain (6271 mts /20574.2 ft) and its stunning landscapes. Celebrate this milestone, toasting with champagne. Experienced hikers can add Salkantaycocha (1-hour round trip) to the trail and notice the lush colorful endemic vegetation of the flora and fauna. Descend for 3.5 hours until you reach our lunch place, Wayracmachay (3906 m, / 12814.9 ft.). Next, we`ll take the 4 hours path to the campsite, hiking for 4 more hours featuring interesting sites such as Andenes and Chaullay, home to colorful wild orchids, bromeliads, and other flora species. Finally, we will reach our luxury and warm Collpapampa campsite (2870 m. / 9416.0 ft.) in the cloud forest. Again, our hot shower and massage tent will be at your disposal. Complete your day with a delicious dinner and peaceful sleep under the starry skies.
A magical awakening begins our day from heights that raise our positive emotions.
Take a hot shower, then a boost of energy with our nourishing breakfast to get you ready for the 5 hours hike through the most beautiful day of the trek, where you will admire the magnificent flora and sprawling plantations. Our hike will keep descending into a thick cloud forest that will surround us with orchids, bromelains, and other amazing and exotic flora. Come upon a secluded valley filled with expansive coffee, cacao, and fruit plantations. During this journey, we will pass through the farming villages of Wiñaypoco (2650 m. / 8694.2 ft.) and Lluscamayo (2420 m. / 7939.6 ft.) that own plantations of diverse products. On our path, we will encounter some local families and have the possibility to peek into their lifestyles.
Lastly, arrive at our final campsite named Playa Sahuayaco (2100 m. / 6889.8 ft) to find our well-organized staff waiting with our gourmet lunch. After a delightful lunch, take a hot shower before your soothing, rejuvenating massage. Now, it’s time for a private tour of the coffee plantations by our well-versed guide. Take a whiff of the aromatic coffee and sip it slowly to taste its freshness. Thereafter, we will have our scrumptious gourmet dinner served in our dining tent. Since this will be your last night with our friendly crew, we suggest sharing a toast with them. Sleep soundly under the night sky.
Finally, with a brilliant sunrise, we begin our walk at a lower elevation, engaging in dazzling encounters.
Today your supreme effort is required. Start with a succulent breakfast at proximately 05:00 am to energize you. Proceeding with the trail, we will take 20 mins driving to Lucmabamba (2062 m. / 6765.1 ft), where an authentic Inca trail awaits you! This 3.5 hours uphill trail towards the Llactapata ruins (2736 m. / 8976.4 ft.) is almost fully covered by endemic vegetation. Once we reach the site we will admire a side of the Machu Picchu citadel. Then, have a lovely lunch with exceptional views at the Llaqtapata Lodge Viewpoint (2570 m. / 8431.8 ft.). Delight yourself with a homemade meal and take in breathtaking views of Veronica Mountain, Vilcanota River, and more. Afterward, head down for another 2 hours to Hydroelectric train station (1771 m. / 5810.4 ft.), where we will have time for a short rest and optional board our train to Aguas Calientes for approx. 45 mins. or continue hiking to Aguas Calientes town for another 2 hours. Finally, we will reach Aguas Calientes town (2070 m. / 6791.3 ft) with your guide and walk to your luxury hotel with many amenities. Coordinate with your guide the pick-up time for the following day. Enjoy a delicious dinner and sleep heavenly in comfort.
Our dream day is here, prepare for a magical tour of the most important Inca Citadel of South America, be mesmerized by its astounding beauty and mystery that will captivate your senses!
Early in the morning, our guide will pick you up from your hotel to catch the shuttle bus up to the citadel, for 30 mins. ride. A divine sight of the impressive Machu Picchu citadel (2430 m. / 7972.4 ft) will definitely be worth all the effort. Our knowledgeable guide will teach us about the magnificent theories about the purpose, history, and mystery of Machu Picchu. Once you have fully relished in its beauty and taken many perfect photos, we exit the park. Optional: If you are up to it, hike the steep climb to the top of Huayna Picchu for spectacular views. Otherwise, enjoy a delightful lunch at the Belmond Sanctuary Lodge. Later you will take the bus departing back to Aguas Calientes, to proceed to board your train. Upon arrival, our View Latin America Representative will collect you in our private vehicle and take you to your hotel in Cusco.
