**Elvis made it on the Salkantay Trek**
Last week we had a terrific trek. Our destination was the Salkantay mountain. We were very happy with Elvis, our tour guide. He could not be more friendly, well-informed and ready to fulfill any of our requests. Perfect service! The porters and cooks did an outstanding job too and made sure we were always comfortable. Listening to Elvis’s story about how he is connected to the Incan culture and history in an open way was so special. Besides, we had a great time on the hike with spectacular views. We loved this experience from the beginning to the end.

    **Luxury for mom and daughter**
We decided to celebrate my birthday with my daughter in a luxurious way with View Peru. A 5-day and 4-night adventure was about to start. I felt very comfortable booking with View Peru as it was very simple and we got all the information we needed about the trek beforehand. This was my first time trekking or even camping, but every stage of the trip was planned carefully meeting every of our needs, with luxury in every second of the trip. Our private trek was just for the two of us with a 9-people team supporting our adventure. The tent was completely equipped and the camp bed allowed us a deep and restful sleep. I have no more than compliments for the food. Huge variety of flavors and enough to fill your body and soul. We could not ask for a better service as we had a helpful and high-toned person in every step of the trip. Our guide, Elvis, deserves the best compliments for his knowledge in history and his expertise to overcome bad moments and altitude sickness. If you are looking for an outstanding experience in trekking, you found it. The best sights made by man, luxury at its best, a five-star service. That is View Peru.

    **Seamless service. Outstanding food**
This adventurer has already been to Mexico, Costa Rica and Panama. But this time, Peru was the best adventure trek ever. Seamless service, outstanding tour guide and an experience that will remain in my memory. The trip starts with a short briefing the day before the hike (better you have 1 or 2 days of prior acclimation) so you can be sure of all you will require in the trek. Be sure that no question will remain unanswered and everybody will end up cheered up and excited. They had everything planned beforehand and so all our worries faded away. The guide in charge of us was Elvis, a man with no other goal than providing us the best times of our lives. He was clever at tailoring our trip based on our friendly conversation with him. He even considered our fitness level to make sure we don’t end up worn out in the middle of the trek. Elvis also learned our preferences so his speech was full of interesting facts for a history lover like me. We all found the food no less than tasty and of course, he knew exactly when we needed to sit down to appreciate the most breathtaking landscapes. I felt uncertain about the food and the arrangements, but Elvis cleared all those worries up. Again, food deserves a little more praise. Our guide chose the chef carefully because he understands how important food is. Words are not enough to describe how pleased our taste buds were during the 5 days. Each of the three meals took us to different places in Peru. Appetizers and drinks were like no other, with a story behind. Delightful entrees for our palates and sight. Can you imagine a gourmet fest, wild nature and camping gear together? Amazing, just like Elvis. Ask for him, he will be waiting for you and also for me if I decide to go further in Peru expecting excellence in every trip. Thank you, View Peru.

**12 days in Salkantay and Peru**
I did a 15-day tour with View Peru & Signatures. First, I have to praise the organization skills of the company as no detail was out of schedule at any time. I started with a day tour in Lima. The beach was not far from my hotel room and a short-walk away from Miraflores, they couldn’t book a better place. The VP representatives are great. Next, we flew to Cusco and had two days to get used to the altitude, rafting and biking adventures included. I have nothing but compliments about them. The mountain bike guide, Alex, was fantastic. The 5-day and 4-night Salkantay trek finished in Aguas Calientes and later in Machu Picchu. The adventure was incredibly outstanding. Elvis, the tour guide, explained thoroughly Inca nature, history, culture and philosophy in a really easy way. He knew how to manage our physical skills in the trek and the impact of the altitude on us. The first night, the tents were located below the Salkantay glacier, very close to the Salkantay pass. Incredibly haunting. Other groups hiked at a faster pace and missed camping in this place. I am more than pleased I didn’t miss it. My mind was blown away with chef Jose and assistant Leandro. We had 5-star meals every day in a remote land and each time ending with mint or celery tea to ensure a good digestion. Éverybody in the staff worked hard for our benefit so we did no more than carrying our daypack and enjoying the day. The trip ended with a bus to Puno (10 hours long but good views of Peruvian landscapes) and some days in Titicaca Lake. The VP staff made it again to Taquile Island, excellent service. Marco was the one who put all our needs in the best itinerary. I upgraded my accomodation and got a suite in the Midori, in Cusco. I don’t regret it at all. View Peru deserves my recommendation for any travel in those destinations. Good job!

The plan was to hike with View Peru for 5 days. Our guides were Elvis Roque and Joel Ascue, and we had the best adventure ever. We really had low expectations of the trip when we checked the price, assuming a standard service, however it was totally the opposite. Everything was included. Our main effort was hiking and carrying our water bottle and a few layers of clothes. For any who is into backpacking, letting others carry all the camping gear like the sleeping bag or the camp stove is luxury. What about food? Outstanding. You will not find better quality meals in the wilderness. Our eyes were also joyful to see the Salkantay from the campsites in the first camp, a lush valley in the second one and a river view in the third. We got tired after the hike, but the tents were already set up for our comfort. We were also granted basins with hot water to wash ourselves before dinner. That is luxury. Kind reminders of drinking water and putting insect repellent made us feel fully cared by our guide Elvis. Not to mention his deep knowledge about the past of Peru and the Incas. We were all at ease as we spoke and inquired about the Incas at any time. Perfect timing and scheduling, we have no complaints on the organization of the tour. He even arranged a rest time in the hot springs for the group! I would have no doubts on recommending this company to anyone who wants to enjoy amazing landscapes, a well-supported trek, very knowledgeable tour guides, and luxury, of course.
