Day 1 - Greetings, from Peru!

Day 2 - Exploring Barranco and Larco Museum

    Do I need to get vaccinated before visiting the Peruvian Amazon?

    Vaccinations are not mandatory to enter Peru,, but to ensure a safe and healthy trip to the Peruvian Amazon, some vaccinations are recommended, especially for areas below 2,300 meters (7,546 ft) in elevation.  These might include yellow fever, typhoid, and Hepatitis A & B.  It’s always best to consult with your doctor or a travel clinic at least 4-6 weeks before your trip to get personalized recommendations based on your health history and itinerary.  They can also advise you on any medications you might need to bring, like anti-malarial prophylaxis.
