Set off from your hotel with your guide in private transport to the town of Ollantaytambo and continue on an uphill trail to the Huilloc Community. Upon our arrival, we will receive a warm welcome by the locals with dancing, playing Andean music, joyous smiles, and dressed in their colorful traditional wear. Get an introduction to their lifestyle, customs, textile weavings, farming of potatoes, corn, and other products, and other activities. After an authentic cultural experience, return to the Inca town of Ollantaytambo to have a delectable lunch before starting your tour. Take a stroll to the Ollantaytambo fortress that faces town with its stunning terraces, a ceremonial center that sit atop the terraces, a royal chamber, and other temples. Then walk around the city admiring the Inca design still present today. Following, a fantastic day, return to your hotel in Cusco or Sacred Valley.
