Take pleasure in visiting Lima, the capital of Peru, and tasting its delectable cuisine. Travel to Paracas for a nature tour of the Ballestas Islands, then a visit to Nazca to board a Cessna plane to catch sight of the mysterious Nazca Lines. Our next visit will take us to Arequipa known as the White City and the magnificent Colca Canyon. Navigate on the waters of Lake Titicaca meeting the inhabitants and sharing lifestyles. Arrive in Lima, where our View Peru representative will be waiting to welcome you and escort you to the hotel of your choice. On the way, you will receive a briefing of your itinerary. Once you are settled in at your hotel enjoy your first day in Peru at leisure. In the evening, you will be taken to enjoy a fantastic dining experience at one of the best restaurants in Lima. After dinner, we will take you to your hotel for a most comfortable sleep.
After a delicious breakfast, our guide will meet you at your hotel to start your half-day tour through the capital of Lima that lies on the shores of the Pacific Ocean, to appreciate the beautiful contrast between the modern and historic sides of the city.
Our tour starts with a visit to the Huaca Pucclana pyramid, a pre-Incan site that was built around 500 A.D., by the Lima Culture.
We will explore colonial Lima, the historic center, which was declared a UNESCO world heritage. Pass through San Martin Square, Plaza de Armas, Government Palace, the Cathedral, Archbishops Palace, and the Mayor`s Palace. Next, we will visit the San Francisco Catacombs.
Then we will travel through the upper-class neighborhoods of San Isidro Olivar, Miraflores, and Larco Mar where you can have a delicious ceviche while taking in stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. We will take you to your hotel and the rest of the day at your leisure.

Today is an early wakeup, and after breakfast depart Lima, heading to Paracas, located in the Southern part of Lima in the Ica vicinity. Upon our arrival, we will make our way to the pier to board the shared boat for a visit to the beautiful Ballestas Islands. We will see approximately 150 different marine bird species such as penguins, pelicans, and others. You will spot the well-known “Candelabro” geoglyph, a massive figure that was designed in the sandhills of the reserve. On the shores, you will appreciate stunning sights of the sea lions laying on the rocks or sand, sunbathing. Later on, we will witness more of Paracas as we pass spectacular cliffs, re-sand beaches, and coastal dunes.
After a splendid time, you will be taken to your luxury hotel located on the coastline to rest and enjoy the beautiful views of the sea feeling the refreshing sea breeze. We highly recommend you indulge in an invigorating massage at the hotel spa or take a dip in the pool. In the evening an exquisite dinner will be served at your hotel restaurant.
This morning after a delicious breakfast, we will make our way to the Pisco airport, 15 minutes from Paracas. Wait your turn to board the Cessna plane to fly over the mysterious Nazca Lines etched in the sand. No one really knows who drew the giant drawings of figures on the desert but there are many speculations that it could have been beings from other parts of the Universe. Your guide will provide some of the theories about this place but you will come to your own conclusion. After a great time, we will head towards Ica and visit Tacama Vineyard, one of the oldest wineries and taste some local Pisco and wine. Then enjoy a delicious lunch at the Vineyard. We continue to Huacachina for some adventure sandboarding and dune buggy on the immense sand dunes. Thereafter, we will return to Lima where you can relax after a fabulous time.
This morning after breakfast, our View Peru Representative will meet you at your hotel and take you to the Lima airport for your flight to Arequipa(2,335masl; 7,661ft). Once you arrive at the Arequipa airport, our staff will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in the center.t).
By the afternoon, our guide will meet you at your hotel to start your tour of the beautiful White City aboard an air-conditioned private vehicle. Observe the gorgeous St. Lazarous quarter, where Arequipa was founded, walkthrough lovely streets decorated with flowers. As we reach Carmen Alto, we will stop at the lookout to take spectacular pictures of the views of the city, with the Misti volcano to the back.
Later, we will head to the colonial district of Yanahuara and head to another viewpoint for more stunning views laid out in front of us. Then we will continue to the Monastery of Santa Catalina (St. Catherine), a religious site that was closed to the public for 400 years and opened in 1970. Wonder around its tranquil plazas, alleys, and lush gardens. Lastly, visit the Cathedral of Arequipa located in the main square. Enjoy a delicious dinner in one of the famous Picanterias of Arequipa.
Today, after an early nourishing breakfast, depart your hotel with your guide in private transportation to the astounding Colca Canyon. On our way, you will encounter beautiful scenery, alpacas, vicuñas, and guanacos in their natural habitat. Once we arrive in the city of Chivay, located midpoint of the Colca Valley, we will have lunch. Afterward, we will drop you off at your hotel so you can relax and explore the city at your leisure.
A very early morning start to catch sight of the amazing condors, at the Colca Canyon, the second deepest canyon in the world. As we approach the viewpoint at Cruz del Condor, you will catch spectacular visions of the tremendous condor in flight over the canyon or perched on a rock. Take a glimpse of the depth of the canyon which is incredible. You will have time to take many fantastic pictures. Take a short hike with your guide in nature. Stop by some villages, en route to Chivay, where you will have lunch before departing to Puno. We will journey to Puno, as we escalate the Altiplano, which is a wide, high, and plain plateau covering southern Peru, mostly Bolivia, northern Chile, and northwest Argentina. Upon our arrival in Puno (3,860masl) we will leave you at your comfortable hotel.
After an early breakfast, our guide will greet you at your hotel and go to the pier to board your boat to start an incredible cultural experience of Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world. Lake Titicaca is and has been sacred to its inhabitants for thousands of years. There is a legend that the Inca rose from the waters of this lake. Enjoy the boat ride on its smooth waters to the manmade island of Uros. The Uros people have thrived for thousands of years and have built the floating islands from Totora reeds found deep in the lake. You will learn of their lifestyle, and how they build their homes, islands, and boats from the Totora reeds. Take a short ride on the traditional reed boat. We head towards the island of Taquile where we will be warmly welcomed by the locals dressed in their colorful traditional costumes. The inhabitants of Taquile are renowned for their textile weaving. Walk around the island and admire the scenery and the inhabitants. Enjoy a delicious lunch made from the products from the island. As the late afternoon approaches, this heartwarming experience comes to an end, with our return to Puno and on to your hotel.
After an exquisite breakfast, we will head to the ancient Inca capital, of Cusco. We will take a scenic drive crossing the Altiplano, making various stops at, La Raya, the highest point between Puno and Cusco, Raqchi, and Andahuaylillas Church (San Pedro). As we approach Cusco, you will notice the lower elevation in comparison to Puno. We will leave you at your comfortable hotel to relax and have dinner in one of Cusco`s finer restaurants.

Today after a delicious breakfast, our guide will greet you at your hotel to start a wonderful tour of the city of Cusco, Sacsayhuaman + Qenqo.
The first stop will be at the Qoricancha Sun Temple, a marvelous shrine that was built with religious prophecies during the Inca apogee. Following the tour, we will visit the Plaza de Armas of Cusco (the main square), where our guide will be intensifying the information about the construction and history behind the Cathedral and its beautiful architecture. Then we can visit the well-known San Pedro Market to get a taste of culture and maybe try an enticing fruit juice or eat an exotic fruit. We continue with a short drive up above Cusco taking in the lovely scenery. Visit the impressive Inca complex of Sacsayhuaman with its huge boulders and magnificent presence. As you cross its massive opening it will leave you in awe, your guide will explain that this site was built for the Incas using rocks weighing up to 180 tons which they managed to fit perfectly. The next stop is another mysterious site named Qenqo which means labyrinth. This site is very interesting as it is a rocky construction that hides subterranean passages in its interior. It is also believed this was a ceremonial place where the Incas used to possibly embalm their dead and make sacrifices. After a glorious time, we return to Cusco and have a divine lunch in a fine restaurant. The rest of the day is at your leisure.
After breakfast, depart your hotel in Cusco with your View Peru guide, with destination to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Go forward to the lush Sacred Valley surrounded by the Andes Mountains with beautiful landscapes, warmer weather, and at a lower altitude than Cusco. Drive passing the town of Pisac, up the hill to the archeological site with the same name. The Pisac ruins are surrounded by terraces and stunning views of the Sacred Valley. Afterward, we will go to the Pisac colorful handicraft market for a look. You can pick up alpaca sweaters, jewelry, and more. We continue towards Urubamba along the Vilcanota River to have a delightful lunch in an exclusive restaurant, serving cuisine with fresh local ingredients grown in the Sacred Valley. After lunch, we move forward to the Inca town of Ollantaytambo, to tour the archeological site built facing the town, with its amazing terraces and structure. Walk along the cobblestoned streets still bearing the Inca design around town. We will drop you off at your hotel so you can relax and enjoy a delicious dinner.
A fabulous day begins after a lovely breakfast. We will go to the ranch to start our adventure horseback riding on the Peruvian Paso horse with a soft gait. Trot to the Maras salt flats and the Moray circular terraces.
We start off with an introduction to our horses and Chalan (horse guide), who will give us some safety tips. Our ride will take us uphill until we reach the Maras Salt Flats, where we will observe the gathering of the salt by hand using no machinery. We continue on horseback to the village of Maras to see the church of San Francisco de Asís built in the 16th century. Here is the perfect spot to enjoy a cozy picnic lunch with views of the snow-capped mountains, a fantastic photo moment. After lunch, hop on our horses and ride through Maras admiring the coat of armor sculpted in stone on the doors of the homes that once belonged to the many Spanish Families during colonial times. Later, we trot through the plains to move towards Moray. This impressive site is believed to have been used by the Incas as an agricultural laboratory and development center. Explore the area with your well-versed guide as he provides the many theories about the Moray circular terraces. Thereafter, we will return to the ranch where our private transportation will be waiting to take us back to our comfortable hotel to relax surrounded by nature.

Meet face to face with the astounding Machu Picchu, Tour the wonderous Citadel with your guide who will provide all the theories surrounding this marvel of the world. Fix your eyes on the stunning structures built by the Incas and the striking surroundings. After a fantastic time, you can do the optional hike of Huayna Picchu or exit the park with your guide to enjoy a delectable lunch at a fine restaurant at Machu Picchu. Return to town and gather your belongings and take the train to Cusco. Upon your arrival at the station, our View Peru Representative will be waiting to take you to your hotel in Cusco.
