We start the day with an early departure after we pick you up from your downtown hotel and drive towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Our first stop is the picturesque village and archaeological site of Pisac, which was discover in the colonial times.
In the main square a colorful Market lays on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, where the locals use to exchange their products and also you can find woven alpaca, wool blankets, beautiful ponchos hanging and even jewelry. The tradition remains as there is gathering of mayors of other villages dressed their costume clothing attending the morning mass.
Later on, after having time for lunch you will visit Ollantaytambo, the only site that was untouched by the conquerors and remain still. After your expert guide explanantion you will have some time to explore the ruins on your own. By the late afternoon we must return to Cusco, not before stopping by the traditional market of Chinchero on the route.
